The prescreening activities will include the debut of a new Barkitecture trailer, showcasing the upcoming event.

Jack Skellington (with his dog, Zero!) becomes bored with the repetitive nature of Halloween and stumbles upon Christmas Town. Captivated by the joy and excitement of Christmas, he decides to take over the holiday, leading to a chaotic and humorous series of events. As Jack’s well-intentioned plans spiral out of control, he learns important lessons about identity, purpose, and the value of embracing his own role.

Triangle Barkitecture 2025 is back as the Triangle’s most unique pet-friendly fundraiser, where architecture and animal rescue come together for a cause. Local architects, builders, and designers will showcase their creativity through custom-built doghouses and cat condos, all auctioned off to support animal rescues and shelters across Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, NC.

Triangle Barkitecture’s Howl-o-Ween returns with the spookiest custom-pet-costume competition yet. Presented by Assorted Poppies Photos and hosted at Downtown Cary Park during the 2025 Triangle Barkitecture competition, your pet will have the chance to strut down the black carpet in their best costume for a chance to win a spooky good prize.

The competition is free to enter, and registration will start at 1:30 on site.

Assorted Poppies Photos will also be on site from 1-5p with a Howl-o-Ween themed photo booth and collecting donations for this year’s rescue partners.
